Coraline
2009 · 100 min · Animation / Family / Fantasy / Horror · TMDB 7.9
The short version:A darkly atmospheric stop-motion fairy tale in which an 11-year-old discovers a sinister parallel world and faces a supernatural threat centered on eye mutilation and confinement. It trades creeping dread and deeply unsettling imagery over jump scares, building psychological unease through twisted versions of familiar comfort—a disturbing film that lingers long after viewing.
